Today at 4 pm, the Business of Science Center (BSC) will host its sixth annual BSC Venture Team Competition in CNSI Auditorium. The teams are comprised of students as well as postdoctoral scholars who have evaluated the commercial feasibility of UCLA technologies. The three finalists will deliver a 7-minute investment-style pitch to a panel of experienced judges who will assess the potential of the technologies. The grand prize is $30,000 in proof-of-concept funding to accelerate the technology toward commercialization.

The UCLA School of Engineering and the Entrepreneur Association at UCLA Anderson School of Management are once again partnering to put on the fourth eLabs of the year! This is a great opportunity to get feedback on your pitch and/or connect with other budding entrepreneurs and possibly form teams for competitions or classes.
NEW FORMAT! Instead of 8-9 people pitching their ideas for 10 minutes, we're going to try a new format to give more people the opportunity to pitch. Everyone who wants can get up and give a timed, 60 second elevator pitch on any idea. After everyone has given their pitch, everyone will divide into groups to further discuss ideas in depth.
After eLabs is done we will be asking for feedback on the new format.
